The location was marvellous and good, in the middle of jackson. The breakfast had a huge variety of toast, cereals, fruit and eggs.

Location really close to restaurants near by as well as a baseball tournament. For tea or coffee visit Bubble & co Tea Bar nearby. Fairly quiet and perfect room, large bathroom with a bath. Central heating, cable channels, and a work desk were convenient.

I selected this hotel for a council meeting as it offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a business center, and free WiFi. The amenities such as the computer station and complimentary newspapers were useful, and the staff provided excellent service. Cons: One service I missed for my work was a microwave in the room for convenience during late-night work sessions.

The room at Avid Hotel Cedar Rapids South was cozy and spotless, with a super comfy bed and blackout curtains. As a tired traveler, I felt right at home.

I personally missed having more hot breakfast options, unlike a Drury Inn setup.
